The Nepal Meteorological Forecasting Division has warned snowfall hits in Nepal Himalaya due to Very Severe Cyclonic Storm “Ockhi,” over Southeast Arabian Sea.

Ockhi cyclone-formed clouds entered Nepal from the western parts and spreading across the country.

Today is likely to be the most affected day in Nepal. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division brief rain in hilly and Tarai regions and moderate snowfall in mountain areas can be expected across the country.

The strongest storm of 2017 in the north Indian Ocean, Ockhi originated from an area of disturbed weather near Sri Lanka on November 29.
