The Langtang valley declared as Langtang National Park in 1976 and covering approximately 1710sq. km stretching up to the Tibetan border.
Langtang Valley Trek is a pleasant trip in Nepal. Following our route map, we begin trekking from the lower region of the Langtang Valley through small villages, farmlands and beautiful forests. We also climb Kyanjing Ri (shorter hike) or Tserko Ri (longer hike) for excellent sunrise views over the Langtang ranges.The Langtang trekking Tibet border was once an important trading route. We can still see the influence in the rich local culture. Furthermore, the Langtang Valley Trek’s itinerary also takes us to the ‘Langtang Village’ which was compleately destroyed by the devastating earthquake of 25th April, 2015. The important mountains in Langtang trekking are Langtang Lirung 7246m, Langtang II 6500m, Gang Chhenpo 6388m. Langtang bloom profusely with primula, poppy and other alpine flowers that makes the trekking more exciting and memorable. Langtang trekking is the name given to the treks from the name of Langtang valley in central Nepal. Langtang is a narrow valley lying south of Tibetan border.
Gosaikunda trekking is another popular trekking route in Langtang region. In this trekking, we will get an opportunity to see beautiful forest, several lakes and long sorounding mountains: Langtang range, Ganesh Himal Range, Manaslu Range, Annapurna Range as well as Gosaikunda. From this trekking we will get close view of Langtang Lirung (7246 m). The Gosainkunda is one of the holy mountain lakes at the height of 4380 m. Thousands of Hindus and Buddhists pilgrims visit on full moon day of August (Gosaikunda Festival) . Pilgrims believe that if they take bath from the water of this lake they will be saved from their all sins done during that year.

Day 06: Langtang/Mundu to Kyangjing Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 4-5 hours
Day 07: Acclimatization- Explore Kyanjing Ri (4700) 4-5 hours or Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hours
Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel: 6-7 hours
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,230m/ 7,316 ft): 5-6 hours
Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa: 3-4 hours
Day 11: Sing Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,460m/14,632ft): 6-7 hours
Day 12: Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa 5-6 hours
Day 13: Sing Gompa to Dhunche 5-6 hours
Day 14: Dhunche to Kathmandu
